What you’ll learn:

How you deal with people personally often dictates the results achieved by your team. This comprehensive study programme looks at the communication skills necessary to build and unite your team.

This programme will enhance your management skills and give you tools to help confidently interact with employees. Over the course of four two-day blocks, you’ll discover new ways to take charge in your organisation, minimise workplace disruptions and resolve conflict. You will also discover how communication skills can manage and improve quality.

Learning astute communication tactics for different situations will increase your confidence as a first line manager, ultimately boosting quality and output.

Note: This is not a NZQA approved course. The EMA is currently preparing programme approval and accreditation applications to gain NZQA approval to deliver the New Zealand Certificate in Business (Introduction to Team Leadership) (Level 3)
In the meantime, learners who achieve the unit standards attached to this course will have this added to their NZ Record of Achievement from NZQA.​​
