This is essential training for any Health and Safety Representative, and extremely valuable for any Health and Safety committee member, or any worker or officer wishing to better comprehend the Health and Safety at Work Act and associated regulations.
What you’ll learn:
This two-day course provides Health and Safety Representatives with necessary knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (HSWA), supporting regulations, and the role and responsibilities of a Representative.

- Understand Health and Safety legal requirements (HSWA)
- Promote the successful management of health and safety issues within your workplace in good faith.

Describe the role and functions of the Health and Safety Representative in a New Zealand workplace.
Learners can expect to do an additional 6 hours of self-directed learning to complete this unit standard.
