Foundation: Know, Comprehend and Apply​ 


Employees or workers who routinely perform manual tasks, and want to understand how to do so safely.

What you’ll learn:

Explore the risks associated with manual tasks and develop awareness of how to perform those tasks safely.

Where and when:  Learn at your own pace, but this course should ideally take around 60 minutes to complete. You can complete the course across multiple sessions if you choose to.

What's included?

  • What are the risks to your remote and/or isolated staff?
  • Understand the limitations and advantages of technology, especially when it comes to communications: do you choose cellular, radio or satellite? Or a mix? Select the correct hardware based on network and risk
  • How to set up solid internal processes and train workers on the use of the solution
  • Establishing clear, workable escalation instructions and monitoring.
