Successful projects are always well-managed. But what are the tools and techniques to set your project up for success?
This practical course will give you a background in why projects succeed or fail, and show how to ensure success. It will give you the tools and confidence to take control of projects from the start.

After, you’ll be able to…

  • Define the project scope and deliverables
  • Use tools to keep a project on time and within budget
  • Avoid the main causes of project failures
  • Manage and interact with the project’s key stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate project risk
  • NZQA Unit Standard (optional)

    Learners can expect to do an additional 146 hours of self-directed learning to complete this unit standard - when completed in conjunction with Project Management - Maximising Performance.
    Note: This is not an NZQA approved course, however learners that achieve the unit standard attached to this course will have this added to their NZ Record of Achievement from NZQA.
