This course teaches the crucial differences between coaching, mentoring and delegation, giving you a range of skills in each to improve?organisational?performance.?You’ll?learn the key principles of each approach, and how to put them into practice in your daily interactions with team members. By increasing your capacity to motivate others, your team will feel more inspired and achieve new heights.

After, you’ll be able to…

  • Implement the key competencies of coaching, mentoring and delegation
  • Demonstrate knowledge of when, why and how to coach or mentor people
  • Apply understanding of which coaching style is appropriate for the person and situation
  • Empower the performance of all team members through effective delegation and the application of your new knowledge and skills.

7114 Version 4, Level 5, Credits 8. Coach adult learners

Learners can expect to do an additional 66 hours of self-directed learning to complete this unit standard.

Note:?This is not an NZQA approved course, however learners that achieve the unit standard attached to this course will have this added to their NZ Record of Achievement from NZQA.
