Pathways to Employment Trust

The Pathways to Employment Trust, formed in 2008, is managed by the EMA.

The main objectives of the Trust are to promote work opportunities and a supported transition into the workplace for young people.

Initially the Trust focused on promoting vocational education to students and achieved this by employing a contractor to deliver seminars for high schoolers. These are now being provided by government agencies. The Trust has now pivoted to using its resources to build the capability of businesses hiring young people.

This involves investing in assisting companies to create ‘sticky’ employment: a positive outcome for both rangitahi and the employer.

The Pathways to Employment Trust is a registered charity, registration number CC33797.
