Welcome to EMA eLearning. Now, when you register for a course*, you will have access to this newest innovation from EMA Learning in enhancing your learning experience.

We at EMA Learning highly value traditional face-to-face classroom teaching. However we are keen to take our ability to deliver world class training to the next level. As the next big step towards developing a perfect training model we are embracing the power of eLearning to supplement and enhance our general classroom training. The EMA eLearning system is designed to make learning exciting, interactive and effective. It is achieved through a combination of classroom training, exciting interactive learning modules, and access to supplementary learning resources available at the click of a mouse.

The EMA eLearning Course Structure - All EMA courses on the eLearning platform are built of 2 main phases (plus a new component introduced in 2008 to facilitate Unit Standards Assessment/s online) all of which are designed to supplement and aid classroom training.

PRE-COURSE
The first component or the Pre-Course Section offers an introduction and some key insights into the course even before one commences classroom training.
You will learn important terms and topics and become familiar with the contents of the course, over an exciting interface, consisting of interactive learning games and fun game-show style quizzes(Fig 1.0 & 2.0). Playing the interactive learning games could even win you a few interesting rewards!!

POST-COURSE
The second component or the Post-Course Section of the eLearning system begins once the classroom training is over. It provides a library of resources and reference material for those interested in further researching the subject (Fig 3.0). Resources such as powerpoint presentations, streaming audio-visual broadcasts (where available), word and pdf documents will be available to the participant for reference or further studies. The Post-Course section also provides participants with the option of attempting online assessments and projects (Fig 4.0), completion of which could lead to EMA Development Awards and Certificates, for those interested in attaining these specialised qualifications. Participants will have the flexibility and convenience of attempting these assessments at a place and time of their choice.

UNIT STANDARDS ASSESSMENT
The new component introduced in 2008, enables course participants to undertake Unit Standards Assessment/s specified for their course, at no extra cost*, on the EMA eLearning system. This option is for EMA members only. Non-members will have to pay the prescribed fees for all Unit Standards Assessment/s they wish to undertake.

*Note: If a participant wishes to undertake Unit Standards Assessment/s in addition to the (free) ones already specified for a particular course, he will have to pay the prescribed fees for the additional Unit Standards.
