Policy committees

The EMA board authorises the operation of a range of committees for the purposes of developing policy and identifying issues relevant to doing business better in New Zealand.

The committees may be made up of:

  • Members of the board,
  • Members of the Policy Forum or Manufacturing Forum,
  • Interested members and participants from external agencies relevant to the topics or issues focused on.

The policy committees are an important part of the EMA structure, providing an area where detailed work can be undertaken to establish policies and content for submissions on the broad range of issues faced by our members.

As the membership of these committees can be fluid depending on issues, there are no lists published of the participants.  However, interest in any committee should be expressed to Bruce Goldsworthy in the Advocacy Division in the first instance.
