Workplace Training Essentials 2: Workplace Assessing

Who should attend

This workshop provides the required skills and qualification for anyone who needs to assess workplace competency against Unit Standards on the National Qualifications Framework, using a supplied Assessment.

What will I learn

“Yes, they’ve been on a training course, but can they really do it?” You’ll learn how to find out for sure whether training has been effective, and how to establish with certainty whether staff have the skills they’re supposed to have. Assessment of competency is a method of proving what people can do, independent of whether training is applied or not. This qualification is also necessary if you want to assess against NZQA Unit Standards, and impacts upon funding applications.
