CATEGORY: FIRST LINE MANAGEMENT
Motivating Individuals and Teams

Who should attend
Any team leader, supervisor or manager responsible for leading, controlling and motivating others. The course is particularly valuable for newly appointed team leaders faced with significant change or any longer serving first line or middle managers who haven’t had the benefit of any formal training and may need to refresh their skills. Anyone who wishes to improve their people management skills and maximise people performance.
What will I learn
Can one directly motivate another individual, or do we motivate ourselves? Can a leader influence the surroundings to create a motivating atmosphere? Is what motivates one person the same as what motivates another? Motivating Individuals and Teams stimulates thinking about the answers to those, and other questions; the programme explores what motivation truly is and how it works.
This interactive and fun programme attempts within its actual structure to reflect some of the powerful environmental motivators that drive high performance teams. The attendees discover how to activate extrinsic and intrinsic motivators within their staff.
