Living with Shiftwork

Who should attend

Managers and the staff responsible for providing rosters to shiftworkers, as well as those who work shifts or extended hours. This course will also benefit those who work irregular hours during the night.

What will I learn

This course will help identify the biological and social effects of shiftwork; to identify the legislative rights and responsibilities associated with shiftwork; and to understand how to manage its effects.

As productivity, safety and health are compromised by fatigue, managers and those responsible for rosters will gain vital information about sleep strategies, staying awake at night and maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
